I'm so excited to have one of my favourite indie pattern brands instore - Sew Over It, from London!
Sew Over It design a gorgeous range of womenswear, with a nod to vintage styling of the 1940's, 50's and 60's. Everything from trousers to party dresses, and from garments suitable for beginners to more complicated sews, there's something for everyone in their range.
Plus, they have the more beautiful packaging - lovely matt colours, vintage-styled illustrations, and each pattern has a different colour-and-pattern combination on it's cover.
We've got the full range of printed Sew Over It patterns instore now. Some of my favourites are....
The Vintage Shirt Dress. I've made this pattern twice now, and have fabric planned for a third. It's great for both weekend and office wear.
The 1940's Tea Dress. This was the pattern that started my love of Sew Over It designs. The bodice is a thing of beauty, with it's 1940's inspiration!
The Ultimate Shift Dress. This is one of those extremely versatile patterns. Quick and easy to make, it'll look completely different depending on what fabric you choose (rayon or linen? Cotton canvas or silk?).
There's ten different styles in store - why not go and see which one is your favourite?
